Conductive Waterlines:
Conductive waterlines are most often found in the Atlanta Ga area, as well as older buildings and homes. Conductive waterlines are lines that are metallic and can be “energized” without the use of the fiberglass rod being sleeved through the pipe. This material is most often Copper & Galvanized Metal.
Non-Conductive Waterlines:
Nonconductive waterline is the most common water service in Newnan Ga & Peachtree City Ga. Nonconductive waterlines are water services that do not conduct electricity. This means that to locate these materials we would use a fiberglass rod with a copper wire built-in. We would sleeve this rod through the water service, then the wire would be “energized” and located with the equipment. Nonconductive water service materials are often PVC, CPVC, PEX & Polybutylene.
Sewer & Drain Lines:
Only Plumbing uses a fiberoptic camera that is 200’ in length and has a locating sonde on the end. The sonde emits a frequency of 512mhz that is tracked by a special locating wand. The fiberoptic camera is inserted into the sewerline either through a cleanout access, roof vent or detached toilet opening. So not only can Only Plumbing view and record the insides of the sewerlines but we can also accurately locate the length and pinpoint the depth of the line.
Only Plumbing also assists many Septic pumping companies and property owners with locating difficult to find septic tanks with this method. This locating method is accurate with a wide variety of pipe materials including Cast iron, Clay & Concrete drain pipe that commonly found in many older areas of Atlanta Ga and PVC & ABS pipe which is more common in Newnan Ga & Peachtree City Ga.
